it will cost you around $500 for the box new, and one custom tune should cost you around $500. My box cost me $495 new with 3 cappa tunes(dont use them) and $900+ for a tune.....

Just make sure that you know what you get for your money. If you pay near $1000 you should get 2 custom tunes not just slight modifications of the same tune. You should get around 5hrs of tuning time for that money, but you will find some tuners who can give you a full custom tune for $500. All you need is one custom tune then one of the same tune with a few deg of timing taken out(for pinging or bad fuel). I know I will get burned for my comments but I know a few people who (and use to be involved in allso) are involved in the pro drag and v8super car scene so I am quite aware of what is involved in custom tuning. It does take skill tuning BUT IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

I got my cobolts for $220 the pr boost and oil press. But I do like the ozegauge ones look good and if they were both electrical that's a great choice.

If you are intersted, I will give you a hand with the install. I have a spair twin pod(not the sh*ty one from ss) so you just work out what guages you want. I have the cobolt ones but both are full sweep mechanical ones and you have to run tubes for both and some dont like runing a tube with oil press in it in the cab. The electrical ones from W.A. look good.

I dont care wether it is a$20k car or a $60k car, the paint finish should be better than they are. It is just that we let the bar slide a little each time with each new series, as in society cars are no longer seen as a pice of pride (by the general public) but as a tool just to get from a to b. When I went to pick up my last new car I refused to take it as I was not happy with the finish(peel like in the photo), 2 weeks later and I finaly told them to stick it up there a55 as the sales man I was dealing with told me that's how they are made and to bad if you dont like it. I ended up getting back all my money as I wasen't going to let some young tool tell me I should just put up with it, and lower my standards for something I would have great pride in and cost ME $58,000. SO DONT LOWER THE BAR OF STANDARDS WHEN IT COMES TO FINISH AND WORKMAN SHIP OR WE WILL ALL BE EXPECTED TO BE HAPPY WITH SH!T. You might as well drive a holden.

that's FG for you....... I am sorry to all out there, I have tried to like the new FG but..... still looks sh!t house to me. B series all the way.

the only differance is 1 the pistons 2 the exhaust valves 3 inlet hole in the sump for the oil return 4 upper intake plenum(no butterflys) this is of cause excluding the obvious turbo parts.

Ford are gay. I took it in to have the stability control removed and they dident do it, but charged me for it. They said it was maby becaus it was a bf dash in a ba. They managed to remove the traction control light and the rev limitter beep so I think they may be full of sh1t.

no they are not tne right ones. You need quad orrifis(fu(ked that one) ones to go with the twin valves we have on our motors. They are I think just a single spray patten one.

It's got the best mods of all................The RAPID SYSTEM...lol. Even the tuner was impressed with the your cooler and pipework chris, I mean it pulled the numbers, time after time.

No I havent changed it. Still the factory turbo, actuator and plenum.

Had a change of plans. I ended taking it to Elite today for the tune as I had an urgent job in the area and they managed to get over 350rwkw out of her on 15lb of boost.. A few runs were over this but most were around 350, so not a bad effort out of the old girl. I will post the dyno sheets on tuesday when I go back and pick up the sheets and my flash tuner that I left there.(dumb ass)
