  1. Getting used to your power level yet shockie boy \|/?? Looking to get Nick back up again shortly, so anyone interested can put their name down at his forum...... http://xtcaust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=416&start=285

    The Don Is Gone

Excellent choice Cro. You'll miss the power initially but there are some great power up kits ex Germany....
  3. Awesome result! For a race on Sunday, take to work Monday driver, these things things haul!
  4. RAPHOON

    Cunning Freaks

Definite starter at the next dyno day.
  5. Nice one Shane. I would have come down if it wasn't a cut lunch and a water bottle away....
  6. Not bad from a 6 potter. What did VooDoo's big banger make?
  7. About $5k over the 2 cars. Not too bad for a big boy hobby.
  8. Mate you are most definately on the wrong forum for THAT thread. Sorry Jimmy. ← post up post up... can't harm anyone. ← I'd have to ban myself before I even posted...lets just say there are more than one use for Nokia phone and Nerf Balls... Go take a look at the wog's site...just dont say I didnt warn you... ← It's worth a look........ or maybe 3.
  9. Point 1 is incorrect. If the car has been flashed then that is the tune that the car will have, regardless of whether you reset.
  10. I believe these are 2 separate and distinct functions. Can one of the tuners confirm this...
  11. Then answer is fairly straightforward. The edit software has a switch in one of the tables to either keep adaptive learning on, or switch it off. It is up to the tuner/customer to determine which way they wish to proceed. Mine's off.
  12. Flash it to stock and see if it does the same. Make sure none of the intake hoses has blown off.
  13. What tunes are in the box? I thought CAPA now sends the boxes out empty and the tuner loads in the tunes...
  14. Mine gets done my Nick on his trips up to Brisbane. Good side - killer tunes with good power Bad side - he doesn't have a permanent shop here so have to wait between visits.
  15. Yup. Seen him at it before on the FPV day. Totally nuts. But isn't that what a perfectly good track without a speed limit is for. Can't wait to have a sit in the car with the new engine in it Shane.
  16. I'd also suggest giving the car some time to cool down before doing the power run. The intake temps on that dyno readout suggest the car was very warm and the standard IC was struggling. High IC will cause the software to limit your output but the figure is still more akin to standard car than an edited car. Even with the generic tunes. Mark at PT is very good at what he does, so did he comment on your results?
  17. That's not good Shane. Keep us posted on what you find.
  18. Probably true, but they did not snap off. The plane was still rolling down the runway sans the tail.
  19. Captures the very moment when a pilots job became avaialble. Says a lot for the strength of the suspension in the undercarriage.
  20. Whilst it's a real pain, I think you got off lightly. Just think what the car would have looked like if the KW had just 10km/h more speed at the point of impact.....
  21. Front up at Nick's. Hand him the folding and he'll give you the flashbox with a safetune to get the car to the shop without risking your cat. I just hope you haven't already f*cked it with the driving you've done since the change.
  22. Beats me. You will no doubt have more power (and consistency) with the exhaust and cooler fitted, but you could have run a lot more on the standard equipmwent WITH the injectors in.
  23. Looks good.
  24. I Like 'em. But please say you have the go to back that up.
  25. From memory, that setup required a unichip (?) to provide the output.
