  1. me too.
  2. Heres a link to an earlier post that has comparative times... BA Turbo Vs VY SS
  3. And we are now at 380 members.....
  4. And that makes even more sense....thanks
  5. Be a good sport then, and post some... :D :D
  6. Not sure how long CITRIC ACID has been available, but sometime in the past couple of weeks it was added to the www.newfalcon.com.au site
  7. So true Superoo.... But it's short term 'cause we fleet purchasers buy every 2 - 3 years and the retail buyer is more like every 5+ years. They will get at least 3 sales from me in 10 years Vs 1 or 2 if they are lucky from Joe public. I wonder what the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission think of this? Could it be classed as "unfair" to treat us fleet purchasers this way? Bloody should be!
  8. Fleet discount should be MUCH more than that! At least 10% off the pre GST price inc options which should add up to about 13% discount on the drive away price due to GST and stamp duty savings....
  9. Congratulations..... I assume you are not fleet then if you can get one in 4 weeks. As for the price rise, is that on top of the 2% rise that was suposed to be effective 01/01/03? making a total increase of 3% since launch...... Are Ford trying to dampen demand here or just plain greedy? That Expensive Daewoo is looking better every second
  10. So I do some tyre kicking at a dealer today just to see what the "mood" of the market is and get told plain and simple that fleet purchasers will have to wait 'cause they are last on the list, June delivery would not be a surprise! I then ring same dealer and ask if they can help me into a turbo (no mention of the dirty Fleet word)- not fussy about colour/options but gotta be an auto......well lets just say I got the distinct impression that they can help me much sooner. What gets me is in any given year a finite number of cars will be sold and a percentage of them will be fleet so does it really matter if a fleet one is sold this month or next? They will still sell the same number of cars and make the same profit on total sales. The sales should be allocated on a first in basis that's fair. Anything less is just BS and indefensible. The "funny' thing was that when I told the salesman that they would loose sales 'cause fleet buyers can't wait forever for their replacement car, he didn't seem to care....that's just the way it's done. I'm so peeved that I might just vote with my feet and buy a Expensive Daewoo after all.
  11. thanks AMoffat - that makes perfect sense now :D
  12. love the pics. Congrats on the arrival of your new baby :D
  13. I'm confused here what do the 2 numbers seperated by the slash mean? front/back tyre presure, max/min pressure??
  14. 4 of 4. Only sorry that I could not get a side shot due to position of car in showroom :(
  15. 3 of 4
  16. 2 of 4
  17. Thanks to Strapp :D Ford Doncaster for allowing me to take the pics
  18. That seems to make sense...240kw is about 40% up on 180kw. 40% more fuel/air mixture would, I assume, make 40% more power :o Coincidence or science??
  19. seems odd :o The car is "drive by wire" so there is no mechanical link between pedal and engine....
  20. No. As long as they are at the specified pressure when cold all is OK.
  21. Must be a common problem. I drove a demo with the same problem :(
  22. I agree with your comments Mondie.
  23. I beileve the presenter clips into existing holes on the inside of the centre console.
