  1. and if you do want to use that bigger turbo, factor in quite a few more thousand dollars to strengthen your engine and trans.
  2. Maybe his avoiding you ...MR NOT-310 lol
  3. Anyone tried Safeway fuel I heard it really good..lol
  4. Ive been talking to him and havnt had a problem ..maybe he did block ya..lol
  5. I wouldnt recommend a convertor unless you will be racing it at the dragstrip, it is useless on the street as the street is not a racetrack, therefore a convertor cannot be used to its full potential. And in saying that a 2800 convertor is plenty unless u start going larger turbo like a gt42r
  6. Let me know im interested
  7. Great effort for all involved..well done
  8. Now that video would be GOLD..lol Your mph is excellent, what 60ft are u getting?
  9. What tyre set up are u running, im surpised that the track is not stickier at a Jamboree
  10. If you dont want to spend too much id go with the process west stage 2 cooler, good for 300rwkw , in the heat it will suffer a little, but if you want a really good one, you cant beat the nizpro big big cooler. I have had both on my ute, and currently using the nizpro unit, it is quite dear but it truly does a great job.
  11. Any modification you do is not safe....The only safe bet you have is sticking to a standard vehicle with its 3 yr factory warranty. If you want to play then expect to pay.
  12. My built box is still going after 2.5 yrs and still counting, not to mention I have clocked up 70000kms and countless drag passes at the strip. Preventative maintanence goes a long way.
  13. Best to get it pulled down then, sounds like it needs a rebuild, clutches are gone. There is no cheap alternative to a rebuilt 4 speed, your looking around 2800 plus for a full rebuild
  14. Shouldnt get that warm with a transcooler, did u leave it in 4th the whole time up the hills.????? and have u even checked the fluid levels, maybe all it needs is a top up of oil, there is no dipstick to check but you need to top up until it seeps over from the sump plug.
  15. actually does she have 2 sisters one for me and one for dagabond..lol
  16. The flu is making me delirious, would u believe 394rwhp...lol
  17. 394rwkw
  18. Wuss about what James Snr????????? lol
  19. lol now your talking
  20. My stall convertor was custom made through Dion originally, it is smaller in diameter (240mm I think), so yes it doesnt show its true figure, Dion did a before and after and measured it at 24rwkw loss, so 312 and 24, power was at 336rwkw. So no it isnt Nitrous *Beep* u can ask him yourself....lol I just know my ute better and used better tyres than what you did, my 60ft was 1.66, and yours was what 2.xxxx do the maths you should of ran alot quicker. Il try and headout next meet, power is very similiar to what I had before, and doesnt come on as hard like previously as my motor is just about clocking up 100 thousand kms
  21. I had 312 on dions dyno to get the 11.3, *Beep* has probably a similiar tune but with around 40rwkw more so he should get into the tens if he can do a proper run.
  22. yes good idea *Beep*, too much build up last time...lol
  23. Sounds like the diff guy your using just milked you for replacing things that dont need replacing. The utes are not as quiet as a sedan but in saying that I do hear road noise on mine as well, and I have a aftermarket exhaust too. I know some tyres like falken do get noisy when they start to get low, other than that, its hard to diagnose on the laptop. Maybe the diff gears are causing it ??????
  24. When u running next *Beep* with mt's....it will be interesting to see the timeslip cause I had 355 on dions dyno a couple of yrs ago but never ran it down the qtr.
  25. as said above ..the pcm will make the small adjustments itself.
