I have just sold my bike because of the reasons above and a few personal issues(lost a mate while out riding) . Scotty for your sake and others mate just don't go beyond what you feel comfortable with. Trust me it can can save your life and the guy behind you. Especially if your new to road bikes.

Hi all I have a set of Xforce gauges from PP autos, After I got a service done they are all over the place(temp and presure). Had a look at them today and we figure that when they were installed the terminal for the pressure sender may have been over tightened cause you can just tap it with your finger and it sends the gauge crazy. But with that it also makes the temp gauge go silly too??????. Anyway anyone with these gauges had this problem and can I jut buy another sender of anybrand to replace it or should I try and get one from jeff at PP. Ta Glen

Very true. Maybe they should look at Ads the same way they do for cigarettes and want to do with binge drinking. A few graphic images tends to put frighten people. But then again people still smoke. Glen

Bit late but what is left of the easter holiday please take it easy. Had heard on the scanner today a guy had crashed at midnight last night and was not found until lunch time today(he 22nd)he was knocked out until then. He woke up to find his wife had died still in the seat next to him. The car had gone into some pine tress off the road and was not found until hours later. Could not imagine what this poor guy has gone through. So everyone take it easy when your out and about over the weekend as there is always that next guy around the corner, and you just never know. Ended up going with rapids high flow V3 kit. I think I will start getting a few bits and pieces together before I do a complete install and custom tune. Costs will be a lot extra for me as I live in tassie and have to take the ute to melbourne for any tuning. Will see what the future holds. Glen

Thanx bfhoon, Had a couple of PMs so now doing some shopping. I think I will just go with a IC at the moment and move to a plenum later down the track(before kiddies start popping out) and then push for over 300. See how I go. Glen

Hey guys, I'm in the process of getting off my ass and doin some proper mods. The ???s I want to ask are what intercooler and plenum can I get on a budget but still be able to get some decent power, nothing over the top maybe around 300 or so. I have had my wallet stripped kinda bare lately as the other half has decided after 10 years we should get married. So febuary next year it is going to be , But that is another story. Any way I have a capa box with geneirc tunes in it(not capa) that is being looked at in melbourne to try and get a different and safe tune in it before I have to make a trip over in person with the ute and do it the right way.(will try anything once). I was looking at the rapid cooler for $589 and plenum for $1495 but I would rather the air filter be under the hood and not near the ground(personal choice), So does anyone have any other suggestions that I could look at for a no hassle straight bolt on system on the "I'm getting married so I have to pay up for that budget side of things". Once I get all this together + new injectors then I will jump on the boat and head to the BIG smoke for a custom tune and give some of these tassie boys a good run at the local drag strip(tarmak dragway) . Well what a sh*t of a day I have had for the ute. I thought nice day might go for a drive wash the ute and take some photos. So driving along the highway nothing around except for this small little f*cking bubble car and WHACK a big rock got flung straight into the windscreen and cracked it. So straight to the windscreen place to repair. $$ later I went and washed the ute and as I got to the front ............ and well what do ya know a broken f*cking driving light. "> So bugger the photos putting the ute in the shed, giving it a polish and wrapping it up in bubble wrap and only driving around @ 3 in the morning when every one is in bed. Have a nice day Glen

Going for a set of Gmax Kinetics. I looked at some others with the black trim and spokes but just seemed to clash with the ute. These are only new and I am the first to have them put on(apparently, sales pitch?) but they good against the ute so I'm going with them. What ya think. That was the first thing that went through my mind as I hit the gutter Ah sh*t here goes an axle. T/C was on but I don't think it was much help in this case, Not to sure about the T/C as I have had the wheels spinning in first second and third in the wet before and not a hint of traction control. But ohwell no use crying over scratched rims. Going to look at some wheels this arvo after I have a bit of a sleep. 4 days off now and no rain forcast for the weekend whichis a good thing cause we have got the powercruise on here this weekend and I might just have to go.
