I used to get v power racing from the shell on flinders street in the city but its been months since have had that does the one your talking about have 100 for sale now

balmain ,sydney and its been a hastle to get decent fuel around here for a few months shell have had no 98 for well over two months the local mobil only has one pump that sells 98 and runs out very fast and the bp is sold out most days as well I wouldnt normaly let my tank get below a half so its not normaly a problem but last week I was lazy and paid the price by having to put sh*t in or run out of fuel

think its only 91 octane I couldnt find any decent fuel a couple of days ago and had no choice but my car is tuned for 98 and now I cant find my flash tuner cable will my car be fine as long as I drive off boost or should I drain it out or add octane booster or something or is their some other way untill its used up and I can fill up with something decent thanks to any body who replys

saturday lunch time my car was over heating after having a look at a few things it turned out to be the thermostat not opening so I drilled it out and put it back because nobody I called had any left for sale my question is should I put a lower temp one in as a replacement my car is edited with a 10 psi tune funny thing it seems to run better with no thermostat at all and holds a steady temp between 1/4 and a 1/2 takes no longer to warm up , but I guess that will change in the winter and what temp thermostat do you guys have in your cars

update so far took the car back into ford today and my gearbox has logged an error code ford think it may have been the cause of all my problems so zf are coming out in the morning to have a look because ford are not sure what the error my car has given atually means ill update again tomorrow arvo

the saga continues I picked the car up from ford again Tuesday Avro been there two days they still have no idea what is causing the problem but we are getting somewhere they have agreed there is one they reset my computer because for some reason it was not storing error codes but does now I’ve been told to drive around for two weeks in all conditions 40,60,80 110 kmh then bring it back and hope we have something to work with also me and ford have noticed the car seems to be holding gear when it shouldn’t it won’t down change all the time and every now and then will actually up shift labouring the engine at low revs my car is a bf six speed auto

my cars going back to ford tomorrow same problem as yours only now the heap of sh*t turns off while driving it and im talking normal slow driving 80k an hour flat road turns off for 1 or 2 secs then turns back on by its self

my car is custom tuned by cv has 267 awkw thanks for the reply so it will be fine then

my car has edit only mod so after installing a xr8 cai will I need to get it retuned or will it be fine

yep stock ford tune is the same

their called fraud service for a reason ive had rubbish left in the car ,tools under the bonnet and last time my car was their some dickhead left Multi-grip pliers still Attached to my hand brake under the car could hear banging for a few days so I had a look at work one night and found some more tools left on the car dick heads

mine is a six speed auto and its f*cked in performance mode and normal drive both running the edit and without will be fine for a few days then runs like sh*t for 1 or 2 days ford has no idea what the cause is Surprise Surprise useless pricks

who did you deal with dimtri has always been nice to me on the down side their Mechanics are f***n useless and need to repair the same thing 3 or 4 times befor its really fixed

I have the same problem and it’s not the tune because my car does it on factory tune as well my car seems to only do it every few days then maybe 3 days in row then fine for 3 days seems to be worse when still warming up I’ve taken it to ford but it was fine on the day then f*cked the next so they couldn’t find any problems I’m going to take it back into them next week I hope this time it will be doing it on the day seems a few people have been having this problem of late has anybody figured out what it was so far because its really starting to piss me off
