the clicking sound is the value opening and closing and its gonna f*ck your engine if your not carefull ......and driving around without the value fitted is nuts over boost issues big time if I was you id flash it back to standard befor you ruin your engine and get what ever dickhead that tuned it to do it right I mean surely it was run on the dyno befor leaving the workshop how can they not notice something this

if the cars standard then no just get a tune when you fit all your mods

$37.50 is f*ck all but you should only have to pay if you fail I reckon the way things are going with fines and stuff these days maybe the goverment can get our local servo station to hand a parking ticket to everyone on their 10th tank of fuel I mean most ppl would have parked illegally once or twice in that time frame

how does the width have anything to do with it

what I dont get is ppl spend $1000 plus on a cooler $500 plus on injectors plus install costs for both and another grand or so on a tune but dont worry about a $200 fuel pump which if fails can pretty much put an end to your engine if you happen to be unlucky enough and the result about 7 or so grand

but without going into details or naming names not all site sponsors always get eveything right either

id be doing rotors and pads at the same time for even wear that's for sure

over the past few months ive had unexplained over boost errors logged on my computer according to ford and also ruff idles stalling eveynow and then even the odd back fire ive been telling all along to check the exhaust because it makes weird nosies sometimes but there to f*cking stupid to listen at the moment but the cars running fine im guessing the cat may have gutted itself and the remains of it are stuck though out my exhuast system waiting to block up my muffler

just had the car serviced 70000km bf turbo anyway had some idle problems so the *beep* at ford charged me for a throttle body cleam to fix the problem which was nice of them but the problem is still there ive also noticed over the last few weeks the engine seems to be a bit loader with some rattle sort of noise under full throttle car drives normal but also the little emision light on the dash is on all the time as of today im gonna take it back into ford on monday cars standard reckon my cats f*cked or what cheers guys trev

anyone know the opening hours ford service departments over the xmas new years break are they open ? or do most of them shut down for two weeks

porsche spend some money on it and make it better it is and always will be a porsche even if it is a crap one or buy the ford and even though it may be a better car no matter how fast it is even with a sh*t load of mods its always just gonna be a ford

cheers guys ive followed instructions on the pads and rotors I was just wondering how long it took other ppl ive noticed that the pads on the front arent making full contact with the rotor yet only done about 40km on them so far but even with only about 50 percent contact they still feel better than the sh*ty ford rotors thanks trev

hello ppl from the guys who have fitted dba slotted 4000 series rotors and ferodo pads how many km did it take for them to be bedded in properly and really start using them cheers trev

because id be guessing that im most cases its a break down of the rubber insulation causing the problems just as much the coil not working right resistance test all you like but for true results you need a megger not a multi meter or even better hook them up but as stated why bother if the problems fixed chuck them in the bin and be done with it

unless testing with a high voltage megger and im talking over 10000volts I cant see the point ? just replace them its not like they cost that much anyway besides you can always swap them out from a mates car

not the point jail for speeding is bullsh*t ... 200 in school zones or 60 , 70 zones fair enough but not on the highway better off just making the fines huge and inforce the fine payment with in 6 months or something none of this payment plan bullsh*t the sdro offer at the moment fines should be based on income as well if the car has to be sold to pay the fine so be it and the money from the speeding fines should be spent on driving courses for p and l plate drivers not just chucked in the goverment piggy bank

I agree why stop when your going to jail regardless may as well try and get away

just fit it yourself not that hard and cheaper
