  1. Car wont run once those bits are changed, that's why I said you need a car tailer for a touch up tune.h Also based on the limited comments you have made re gear box, have a feeling you might have spun 3 and 4 clutch pack. Doesnt take much once you start putting torque through the box, add flat shifting to that and its a small area absorbing a decent amount of torque
  2. Phil, Bring both your cars to me, for $65/hour I will swap the bits over to get the car sorted for inspection. You organise a car trailer/retune for factory tune, get it finished.
  3. If they get you over the pits they work, why not have some fitted to the blue ute rims get green car over pits and go from there? At least you can swap and change with blue/green tornado
  4. Im kinda reading all this effort for potential "bargin" tyre sets, based on time/effort and general dicking around why not just buy from a tyre shop. Good quality 18's for a set can be had for under 1000 bucks, not that much to pay is it?
  5. No flys on you, you are right, what I am getting at is there is a big fundamental difference between Utes and a wagon. As mentioned by Wiggum, there is a reason why they removed the option of brembo rears on a ute. Was trying to assist op before it became a reality
  6. Haha being focused on safety isn't the baddest thing in the world, besides if tyres is your biggest issue I think your getting it easy. Also regarding 4 pot rear brembos on ute, you might struggle with that. Solid back end will struggle with leaf Spring torsion load, if you can find a brake bias valve it may work but there is a reason why the Utes don't have a 6/4 option.
  7. There is some 18 GT rims and tyres for sale on GumTree, why don't you grab those that will get you over. No point cutting corners, it's just going to result in you going back and forth to an Inspection Centre at a cost of 90 bucks a pop plus who knows how much time out of your day.
  8. Think it would backfire regardless in what State, the one thing that they get consistent
  9. Non-molested, I certainly must be worthless then
  10. Are you airing out the taxi after the last time Big Mike and the Gang used it as a f*ck shack?
  11. Love a good Dyson
  12. So many brakes, if only the cars could get up to speed to utilise them haha
  13. Could sell a set of brembos and get some tyres
  14. More parts today, makes me happy thanks Mike
  15. Dammit, guess I set that stock car on its run
  16. Would money not be better directed at getting a car over the pits, or paying someone to help return to stock? Fingers crossed trans issues doesnt cost the same as another pair of brembos
  17. All that time buffing sh*t, could do 2 washers?.
