  1. Thanks very much, I'll go down to harvey normans when they open again after the break, have a vid to post to save confusion. The half track problems we had really started at the startline, we thought the wheels spun which they did but the tranny wasn't paying ball either. As I'd planned on running the gas kit later that night , and already had the bottle opened I thought what the hell I've already stuffed up the run so I armed the kit and used it, People at the track will also tell you about the smoke trail from under the car after the finish line, which is why I was trying to stay out of debates over racing them at the track at the moment as we believed we'd hurt the engine, The car still runs ok but isn't the same as before the run, and with being busy trying to finish the torana for the summernats I haven't had time to have a good look at it. I personally would love to be up running the numbers with simon from nizpro and peter, but this will have to wait until after the summernats(hopefully be ready to run at dragcombat in sydney against these guys, fingers crossed and if I've hurt something already in the motor it may be time to be buying some of Nizpros conrods and other parts he's developed for the internals. And yes it was slower than stock as we ran 14.1 @99mph std and 12.6 @ 114 on our 360kw kit.
  2. the one we use at the track isn't digital, is there a way of converting it though?

Merry Christmas toeveryone and your familys and a happy and safe new year.
  4. does anyone here know how to convert video camera footage to computer format, the camera is a handycam hi8xr. 60foot was 2.4. The only reason we got a decent mph was due to running a zex nitrous kit(75hp)which is normally double in a turbo application and hence the reason we haven't raced for a while, the car hasn't really been the same since. My plans were to get to the drag combat in sydney early next year for some runs and would love it if Peter would like a couple of match runs(and hopefully we can show the jap cars what their missing out on) Peter email me at your leisure.
  5. oh and before you ask, yes I used the nitrous kit.
  6. why? as I said before I'm not interested in getting into a workshop competition, you do your thing I'll do mine.
  7. the mph is 131mph and the reason for the et is we had just a few more than normal 1/2 track problems. no typo errors here.
  8. well guys I've been trying to stay out of the debates over this 10sec/or 11 sec pass between other workshops, but here it goes, mine is a auto and I never made any recommendation to either transmisson and my tranny is totally stock and un modified. However it is my belief that the auto is a quicker 1/4 vehicle. The reason we haven't been racing of late is that we've been too busy with trying to get our show car ready for the summernats but from memory we still hold the highest mph over the quarter at 131mph however the et wasn't much to be yelled about 14.3(hence the traction problems)
  9. 19" not sure how wide as the car is a mate of mines.
  10. what would you like to know, it has one of our computers on it and our bonnets, we've fitted a zex nitrous system to it, herrod shifter and sports exhaust, and will soon be fitting a capa supercharger kit.
  11. thanks mate, yup it's the same car at the dyno day
  12. no we got to run but I only got one pass where I stuffed up and went from 2nd to overdrive. shamefull 13.9
  13. thanks mate
  14. there's a guy already working on the new lights, will let you know when there available. and thanks for the comments on the ute, I'll be racing it tommorrow night at willowbank if it doen't rain.
  15. my tailgate without light
  16. We're accutally the wld distributor for capa and we're using a v2 supercharger also, however we don't use their chip as we use our own programmable computer to run the car, give me a yell if you like and I'll work you out a price.
  17. a supercharger is nice, we're accutally the state distributor now for capa superchargers so when you want one we'll sought you out. Blood orange is a awesome colour Congrats. So far we've made 508hp at the tyres with only a little bit of dyno time so far.
  18. so far we've made 508hp at the tyres, but I've been really limited to dyno time at the moment(1/2 hour total) as we've been really busy. It driving awesome and is a bit of a handful as the guys down the coast noticed last night, oh and the guy with the supra and all the noise beat ya beat ya
  19. going for a cruise to the coast tonight, where is somewhere decent to cruise these days?
