Am wondering what fuel pump I could put in the car that would be cheaper and not cause problems, car is currently at 440kw on 98 and 500kw on e85. Any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers.

Replacing like for like seems like a good idea - you know that it will work at your power level.

The pump costs 1.9k, prefer not to spend over $1000 if possible. considering the wiring has been altered for this pump being a dual pump would I be able to put a stock fuel pump module with an upgraded single pump fitted? Or would it be alright to fit new pumps to the current street fighter module in the car? also if I was to put a stock xr6 turbo pump in from ford would I experience any issues (considering this as I’ve already got a stock pump in hand and need the car moving asap) Edited 22/04/26 02:33 AM by Lerm
k31th less WHY; more WOT Site Developer 30,100 Member For: 18y 5m 9d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 22/04/26 03:10 AM Posted 22/04/26 03:10 AM The entire "in-tank module" with two pumps is ~$1600 brand-new, so I'm not sure how your pump(s) could be $1900+... figure out which make/model (from the online listing: "2 x Bosch 300 lph pumps utilised") and find out how much just one is actually worth, or both if you need both. The stock pump would not keep up with the rest of your fuel system, not even close... would be extremely risky to run that setup even on small percentages of throttle use. Yes, you can fit new pumps to the current module.
