Hey guys, have been searching for some info on an issue I'm having but have been unable to find anything on the exact issue I'm having so I'll try my best to explain it.

Just bought a BF XR6T Mk2 Manual and have been absolutely loving it up until a few days ago. Was pulling onto the high way so was giving it a bit when all of a sudden it lost all power and started bucking or jerking really violently. It seems to be fine at very light throttle but as soon as it starts to build up boost at mid revs it just drops off all power and starts to jerk.  From what I've experienced it seems to be ok at lower revs (below 2000) but as soon as it gets higher it goes crazy. Also did notice a few popping noises coming from the turbo side when a friend and I were trying to diagnose it. My first thought was that it must be boost a boost leak or something along those lines but have checked thoroughly for leaks and have been unable to find anything. My knowledge on turbo cars is extremely limited so at this stage not sure if its boost ,fuel or spark related. The car has been tuned to run around 10 or 11 psi but other than that is completely standard.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? seems like such a strange issue to me, have never seen anything like it. Just hoping its not anything too serious considering I just bought the car.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That would be great if that's all it was, might take it around to the exhaust shop tomorrow and get it checked out.

check the spark plugs, if a couple plugs are loose it can cause this too.

plug gap may  also cause a similar issue
