Questions about turbo side intake

Hey,

So I've been thinking about doing the whole battery relocation and getting a process West  turbo side intake on my FG for the last couple of weeks just had a few questions

1) I have herrods intercooler piping on it already will that be fine or will I need to change that to suit the new intake? 

 

2) is their any benefits of going side intake on the stock turbo or is it only benifical for larger turbos? 

 

3) if I do go through with this will it need a tune after it?

1) it'll probably fit, but you'll need to confirm with Herrod.

2) yes, the benefit is definitely there for even the stock turbo's in these cars.

3) ideally, yes, but you can live without one.

do a few other mods mate, no point wasting money after every mod to re tune.

 

whats the mod list look like currently?

Currently have bigger injectors and cold air intake

 

I was going to do side air intake and bigger intercooler at the same time and then get it tuned
