Agreed... about 5 years ago I bought a replica bride race seat and made brackets to suit the std FG seat rails.

Getting in and out was a pain in the arse and it was way too narrow in the upper back, forcing me to sort of sit forward but man it held you tight in the twisties. I put up with it for about 6 months.

Definitely no issues with seating positions or body hold in my clubby as the VF HSV seats are beautiful 

 

the FG GTP seats are decent but rare as a clean hooker on a Saturday night  

 

had one customer stump up the coin and put a full set in his FG XR6T and it's the best upgrade

Yeah wouldn't mind picking up some GTP seats if I could get hold of them for the right money. Mind you, the difference in price between my 2012 XR6T and your Clubby would allow me to have some seats hand crafted from the scr*tum skin of bengalese tigers, fur left on of course
