Correct me if Im wrong here, but with concrete to around 60ft versus the tired old asphalt at Calder, shouldnt Heatchote be quicker? Being a drag racing expert, you should know that. Maybe, if you raced at Heatchote you might get out of the 13s!

Hey Martin, give the key board a rest so we can all get on with our work. :lol: You had better go and spend some time on the one tonner, other wise you will have your doors bloan off by Mark's xr6t ute. On a more serious note good luck with the LSI drag nationals, I hope it is finacially successful for you personally, and that all of the guys that attend to race have a hoot of a time. :banghead:

Pete thanks for the words of support mate. No matter what the knockers say, I still reckon you are a decent bloke, with a more than decent product. Well done.

100% with such fledgling cars that arent on the money from a consistency or reliability viewpoint I understand why you quite literally dont want to be fed to the Lions! Maybe next year when there is more of a handle on these cars. I am sure we will speak soon.

On a bright note Peter kindly arranged for Con from C&V to give me a call yesterday, and all I have to say is 'what a cluey bloke!' We spoke for 30 minutes or so about setting a T up specifically to run down the quarter, and the way these guy had done it was very clever. If you want good times out of anything then having C&V go into bat for you is like handing willow to the Don. Excellent stuff.

Even better is that C&V have tentatively agreed to take up the cudgels and fill the gaping XR6 chasm in the LS1 Drag Nationals program. Since there is such good prizemoney on offer they cant see any reason why the orange car wont be there in full force. If nothing else its a good chance for the Melbourne members to see Australias fastest T in action.

I was up at heathcote 2 months ago, the track was late being prepared and the day was hot so fast times were hard to come by, hopefully conditions will be ideal for such a big event. I'll be there, I'm keen to see how well both the T's and the LS1's go, particularly the APS/C & V mob and Plan b's ute
