Cruise control won't work in 5th gear ba xr6

So I've just converted my ba xr6 from t5 to t56 and now cruise control won't work in 5th gear. It will work in 4th and 6th no problems but doesn't want a bar of 5th, I've tried different speeds/rpm and still nothing. Anyone encoutered this problem or heard of it before?

Yup, you'll need to get the tune tweaked to allow cruise in 5th. Where are you located?

How do I go about doing that ? I'm in Adelaide

I just sent him a message then, when you say tune what do you mean? I had my car tuned no to longs ago from Heinrich and wasn't cheap so hoping that's not what you mean.

You'll need to talk to Arron regarding pricing but he'll need to license your car with HPT then make a few adjustments to the tune to allow proper operation with the 6psd. I highly doubt he'll charge you for a full tune but as I said you'll need to talk directly to him.

If he's tuned it already he might just be able to tidy up that tune for a lot less than it would take jet to figure out what's going on.
