bad inferno Member 130 Member For: 19y 9m 16d Posted 04/12/16 11:02 AM Author Share Posted 04/12/16 11:02 AM Was not going to literally and spray my rotors I had assumed you meant spray a tiny amount on a corner of a rag and wipe off the rust which is closest to the hub itself and make sure you do not get any on the main contact area of the rotor, wipe clean without leaving any residue which could spread onto the main rotor surface. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92502-took-the-plunge-m-series/page/3/#findComment-1624264 Share on other sites

But he was drunk so he probably meant to unload the whole can on the rotor. bad inferno Member 130 Member For: 19y 9m 16d Posted 10/12/16 01:19 AM Author Share Posted 10/12/16 01:19 AM (edited) How is the best way to preserve my old T3 rotors as they will now go into storage or I may sell them . There only 18 months old so like brand new ATM. I'm not keen in coating them in oil either, do I need to worry about it.. ? The rears have settled a little as they have been on for a month however 2 weeks and the fronts wheels are covered in sh*t after only a few hours on the road, drives me crazy. Maybe if you coat your rims with something like tyre shine it'll make it easier to clean. You can just blast it off then. Probably just build up faster though.
