I destroyed a VU SS last friday night. He was already stopped at the lights when I pulled up beside him, he then starts revving the engine. Not being one to back down, I thought I would have a go, we took off and it was over before it started for him. Next set of lights same thing again, this time he got off better than me, he had a car length on me and I thought it was going to be close but from about 70-80kmph a passed him no worrys I braked at 110kmph and he went flying by nver to be seen again. I think he couldn't drive the manual properly, I didn't think it would be that easy!

Yep, I totalled a VU SS ute about two weekends back - caught up to him behind another car and he overtook it over double lines. I caught him about three kays down the road and flew past him up hill - he'd seen me coming and tried to keep me off but failed miserably. We get to town and blow me down he pulls up beside me at the traffic lights. 80 zone so gotta be a bit careful. By the time I got to 90 he was over two lengths back and looked like he had hit reverse gear. Had his GF with him so I hope she enjoys telling all his mates how he got his ass handed to him by a Ford.

And I haven't even got a turbo

Stage 1 UNICHIP cold air K&N

300kW Monaro, got about a ten foot jump then bye bye, he also got done by a little blue Suby, which the T just stayed in front of. The Monaro dude looked very embarrased at the next set of lights, would have been interesting to see what happened more in the mid range and top end.:smilielol:

Yeah right :finger:

The LS1 boys are certainly passionate as well. Though they like to compare modded commodores with std Ts. There is certainly no shortage of comparisons with the T , interesting that they are more concerned with the T than the XR8 ( sorry boys). The mods are also pretty tough on Ford v Expensive Daewoo P#*#ing contests

There are however a few posters over there with some pretty balanced views. :smilielol:
