August 27, 201610 yr #1 Hi guys, Just wondering whether anyone drives to the track on their drag radials (on ba rims) I've got a set 275 40 17 m&h Would this be safe on a dry day or too dangerous since it's only an 8 inch rim and the tyre might pop off? Edited August 27, 201610 yr by nate3523
August 27, 201610 yr #2 It can and has been done many times. Just is dangerous in the wet, but can still be driven slowly/softly where necessary. Go your hardest
August 27, 201610 yr #3 Ivr driven in the wet with bfg radials with good success. As long as the water is not deep there pretty grippy. Usually pump them up to about 30psi though as they roll heaps when turning.
