This all seemed good for three weeks when a different noise appeared which is a low level loose sound which most people would not notice but there's something moving around in the front end. my mechanic seems to think the ball joints are next. the car has 70000k on it. Any thoughts. Lewis Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91960-fgfront-suspension/ Share on other sites

Any suspension place will be able to tell you that the ball joints are stuffed within about 2min of being on a hoist. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91960-fgfront-suspension/#findComment-1590167 Share on other sites

Other bushes in the region may be causing the ball joint to fail earlier than expected or it may have just failed through regular wear and tear. Lewis New Member 19 Member For: 9y 8d Posted 13/05/16 01:07 AM Author Share Posted 13/05/16 01:07 AM Will lowered front and rear suspension increase the wear as the ute is lowered. And it also has mild negative camber on the front. lewis Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91960-fgfront-suspension/#findComment-1590205 Share on other sites
