or an N/A short block, a leak down test is better cause as matty said farked rings can actually read higher compression once oil gets in the cylinder and helps the rings seal better (thanks ralph for that tech tip).......that tube is just an open vent into the intake so it would nearly need to be blocked to build up enough pressure to blow it off, OR your pcv check valve is farked and its pressurising the crank case...but even then the line from the manifold and check valve is much smaller than the breather circuit..

or like gaz said dumping the boost back into the intake when the throttle is shut could pressurise the crank case and its just the weakest point..plenty of people venting back into the intake on more than stock boost without issues though.

Ahh I used a small hose clamp as well to secure it on lol. Need to replace it at the moment as its split.

And I am not the person to talk to about catch cans as I'm using a catch bottle. And by bottle I mean Gatorade bottle haha

It's tucked away in the airbox. Zip tied to the battery box haha
