Hi All

Got my F6 two weeks ago. One thing which annoys the crap out of me, is the dash lights coming on by the sensor. Is there a way to have these come on when you put the head lights on? Done a search and can't find any answers.. Why won't Ford let me put my lights on when I want to!!

Thanks

Na bro, I don't have them set to auto. I turn my headlights on manually but the illuminated dash lights only come on when its dark outside. So when its overcast they won't come on inside but I can barely see the dash which is annoying. I was hoping there was a way to for the illuminated dash to turn on when I turn on my headlights?

Lol yeah this has always annoyed me, the dash lighting is switched soley from the light sensor. Does not come on even if you manually turn on the lights.

What the actual fark hey

Change your auto light settings to on early off late and can also force them on at dusk which is when its a pain by covering the light sensor until they come on. Will usually stay on if its dim enough. Still pretty annoying though.

In my ST they are on always, even if the lights are off. Much better..

I used a black texta to colour the little bulb in the centre of the dash in,

can't tell it's been done

And the lights only turn off if it's direct sunlight

I'm the other way - can read the dash fine in the daytime.

It's when it's on the cusp of dusk, the headlights come on and the dash lights dim - can be hard to read

sorry blake nothing you can do

dash lights only come on when its dark enough for the sensor.

some people cover the sensor but apparently confuses the a/c climate system or something.

we all just live with it hahah
