Fg F6 Auto Vibration At High Speed

Ok I just drove home from work after writing the above post.

The best way to describe my vibration (at the all too real risk of getting massively paid out on) is a "Throbbing Rumble".[emoji19]

Now it's not shaking the fillings out my teeth bad and I seriously doubt most people who jump in the passengers seat would even pick it, but it is there and it's starting to irritate me.

I've even started driving the old girl harder than my usual softcock style to try and coax a reaction but so far nothing!

A work mate asked me to give him a lift to work this morning.

Now This guy is pretty mechanically minded and I ride dirt bikes with him and he definitely calls a spade a spade, he never worries about other people's feelings and if it's Sh!t then he'll be sure to let you know.

So I was real curious about what he had to say about my F6 (first time he's been in it) especially with this vibration which he didn't know about.

After about 10 minutes of driving, mostly in the vibration zone he finally commented

"Drives real smooth "

Well FARK me!

This guys also a Expensive Daewoo man and any opportunity to put Sh!t on my Ford (or me) he would have jumped at!!!

So maybe I'm too anal or he's used to crap cars, (he's always had nicer and later model cars than me) I don't know but I've still got that slight vibration and it's not getting any worse.

I really should climb under and have a look............ Maybe next week.

when I got my tail shaft made ,after test drive Farrows fitted a washer under my centre bearing and the humming went away (2mm ) ? but great result
