Hey guys,

Firstly car is tuned using hp tuners.

Just got my car retuned and now having an issue of the fuel trims not doing anything. I was with the tuner this morning and we went through it all and we can't see any reason why they're not working.

The o2 sensor is giving readings, and I've also replaced this.

Im guessing part of the issue is the fact that the car isnt entering a closed loop, but why its doing that I have no idea.

Im getting a copy of the tune file next time I'm out there so that I can have a look at it and compare it to a stock file to see where the changes are.

Has anyone come across this kinda of issue before?

How do you know the trims aren't working. Is your tuner logging the correct parameters?

Well I just captured this using forscan.

Initially its open loop shown by the top graph, then jumps to closed loop (the little jump in the red line) and the fuel trims start working (long term ones are green and blue, short term pink and yellow) then the red line jumps to a fault and the fuel trims go back to zero again, after reaching about -17%

Orange is the 02 sensor, which is clearly reading stuff.

The car wasn't started till about 110 seconds, and the drop in the o2 sensor is caused by me disconnecting it to see if its reading something.

Log ltft2 and see what happens.

Tuner could have disabled ltft but unlikely

Sorry, the pink one is ltft2, which seems to mimic ltft1?

Post you tune if your tuner will share it.

Even screen dumps of the fuel tabs will be a good start.

Have you deleted the rear o2 sensor?

Being a ba it never had an 02 sensor, so I assume that hasn't been changed.

Basic stuff about the car;

2004 mk2 ba

bosch 968 injectors (42lb)

4" dump

4" 100 cell cat

stock from cat back

12 pound actuator

valves springs done

bigger front mount with turbo side intake. Don't think this would effect the o2 sensor at all but you never know...

02 senor temp ltft enable is set to a touch over 1000degc.

Stock value is aprox 280deg.it won't be using ltft as the sensor temp for enable is way too high.
