I can't help but think a well planned and executed exhaust system shouldn't have fundamental heat issues. Wrapping is just transferring problems. Least of which is poor planning. I'd be all for keeping the temps down.Re wrapping the whole system I think there is a gain to be had? (citing karting and rules against ceramic coatings) though the way it works I couldn't explain to you Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88842-heat-wrapping-a-dump-pipe/page/4/#findComment-1495127 Share on other sites

So while the dump maybe cooler further down the line the heat there will be exponentially higher Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88842-heat-wrapping-a-dump-pipe/page/4/#findComment-1495648 Share on other sites
