Got a nasty ring of chipped paint in my door as a result.Well last night my Blueprint T copped one (again, roadside, girlfriend's house, northern Canb)...thankfully not as bad. Ive got a half-ring of chips and less damage on the right rear passenger door, lower section. Very very annoying nevertheless. Some young male is responsible no doubt. The young morons may not realise that eggs chip paint. The annoying thing is that I cant be bothered to stay up all night on the 1-in-100 chance of catching the little Well, time to call Ford soon, see how much touch-up paint is.

The touchup paint bottle is the size of a liquid paper bottle and costs $14.95.....but beware you need to dilute it with paint thinners before applying....be careful because it comes out very dark and very thick. If in doubt take it to a panel beater with the little bottle and get some advise....I did.

What choice did I have? Had to let em go. Little pricks. I think I scared them enough not to do it again though.

(chipped paint, removed the clear coat etc...)at the time this happened, I knew like 20 individual kids (under 18 on p's) that drove around throwing eggs (reson cause when I was down the street in my xf I seen them throwing eggs at people and cars) and have also had eggs thrown at me while walking along the footpath... totally disrespectful because for that little spiders web of cracks and chips, is about $2000 worth in the panel shop (its on the panel above rear right wheel) cause its a big panel, and to do it they would have to rub it right back and then respray the whole thing (paint aint cheap...)so my suggestion is that if u see somone throwing eggs, go give 'em a peice of mind.
