Hi guys, I bought a g6et and my mirror has a on and off button. any idea what it is?

Auto dim

Talking about one on side of drivers seat?

Rear-view I assume?

It's the electrochromatic "dimmer"...turns the mirror green when the light hitting it from behind is brighter than from the front, unless your transmission is in reverse.

The newer models don't have a switch.

On topic whats the one on the drivers seat memory panel "supposed" to do ??

When on it automatically tilts the passenger side mirror down towards the kerb when you select reverse (and back to normal when you move out of reverse)

To adjust it, put the car in reverse (foot on brake) and adjust the left hand mirror Down until you can see the kerb better whilst still being able to see behind you a bit.

Once you're happy with the position of it, press and hold the mirror button on the seat until it beeps a few times.

It is now in memory and every time you put the car in 'R' (for Race), it'll drop the mirror
