The rain was very patchy, it may ot have rained there at all, it would have been cool though so that would have helped. I wish I could have gone but I realised lastnight that today is the only chance I have to buy a suit for a wedding in two weeks.

We had two days of excellent non stop drag racing, with plenty of new records being set along the way.As expected C&V had the only XR6T to show (thanks Con & Vic) from Sydney. It was a great car to watch, but with a best of 11.0 on the day was unable to match it with the fastest LS1 powered Commodores. C&V Nitrous SV8 with a 10.35 and Sams Performance normally aspirated Maloo with a 10.6 saw to that. CAPA also had their XR8 supercharged burnout car on the pad blowing 18 inch tyres. Over 90 runners, lots of spectators, and magic stunts from the Donut King stunt lads made it a winner event, and the largest single model drag meet in the land.
