I've had a look around and from what I can see the stock rear sway bar is 19mm ?? Looking at getting some new whiteline d bushes.

Fantastic :dancing: Thanks for the picture mate, much appreciated. I'll grab some whiteline 19mm rear sway bar bushes and try those out.

Noticed over the past 2 weeks that the coolant overflow bottle has been dropping a bit of coolant.... So we found the issue and it was slowly leaking from the thermo housing.

Bought a new O ring seal to see if that would help and also cleaned up the inside. Ran the car in the driveway for about 20 minutes and it looked all good. Then took it for a drive before and when I parked the car, checked it again and the leak has come back. So now it might be time for a new thermo top half and sand back the bottom piece.

Even though the units aren't meant to have sealant around them, this has seemed to stop the leak from the thermostat... Although purchased a the top part of the thermo just in case it starts to leak again.

The weather here finally cleared up and it was nice and sunny, so decided to finally put in the front 27mm whiteline sway bar and adjustable link assembly.

Taken out the old parts were easy but the real pain in the ass was putting the d shackles back over the new sway bar bushes... Ended up putting some of the bushing lube on the d shackle to allow for them to push a little easier over the bush and hold the sway bar to the frame.

Finishing touch... adding the sticker :dancing:

Took the car for a quick drive and seems like there is a difference up front. As many other have found with this upgrade, the front seems a little stiffer and snappier. Overall I'm happy so far with how it has improved the handling.

While I was down there, also took a picture of the catalytic convertor fitted up by Pit Lane just in case anyone was interested (5" Outlaw).

So for the past 100km the new sway bar and links have been in the car.... last two days though there has been some loud knocking which seemed to only be getting more frequent ! Started to really annoy the crap out me so just before it rained this morning, got back under the front and torqued both the d shackles and the sway bar links. The d shackles where a little bit loose but then the sway bar links on the lower part were a lot more loose. Once torqued to the ford specs took the car for a drive and the noise had gone and the front end felt a lot more solid again.

Decided that I didn't want to upgrade the rear sway bar but wanted something better than the standard link pins and bushes so ordered a set from Wholesale Suspension and going to order the whiteline d-bushes.

Make sure the washers aren't thicker than the frame or you'll get a nice rattle, probably saw that in my posts around the place though. Love mine!

Spot on Steve saw that in your build thread and the thread from wholesale suspension. Made sure I understood what was going on with them before anymore rattles occured, the loose front end linkages caused enough frustration. Im looking forward to a firmer rear end
