With me was a guy who owned a VY HSV Clubbie, modded by Corsa Special Vehicles and had 310 KW. He said there was no was my Phase II would be a fast as his.I took him for a drive and asked him to jump behimd the wheel. Within 10 seconds, he started to grin and swear. He repeatedly shook his head saying "f*ck" countless times over the next 15 minutes. We were on an open country road, no housing, no traffic - totally safe. He took my car to 215kph and said he's never been in a car that went that hard, and has never heard a car sound as good as mine...said it sounded like an F-18 jet.Fair rap from a HSV guy, I thought. Interestingly, he mentioned that the XR6Turbo is the only Ford that the dark side fears - not the XR8's, FPV's etc etc.

An R33 skyline driving friend of mine wanted to "race" mt T when it would arrive. When it came I'd say "yeah come on" he then replies "No, make sure your cars run in" etc etc. Then about a week ago, we didn't race, I just let him drive it. Boy was he impressed "Wow, hardly any lag, the power is there straight away". "Boy those brakes are awesome" (I have premiums). etc etc. He took an XR8 for a test drive a few months before and he certainly didn't expect the XR6T to be much better, but he said the T is way better in every respect Oh and he made the comment "There's no way my skyline will keep up to this" (he actually took the T faster that I ever have, boy does it pull).The rest are looking and the more they look, the more worried they are getting Edited 27/01/04 11:48 PM by KrasH

If you get Phase 1 first then obviously the price drops about $1200 as you already will have the unichip. Your warranty will be pretty much gone if it is related in anyway to the mods. APS offer their own warranty in relation to their parts only.If your worried about your warranty then don't get it. I know I am, so will wait for the expirary. Not gonna wait for Phase 1 though when the plug in comes out.Cheers :wacko:
