For those of us that love to put their car through it's paces out on a skid pan an opportunity has presented itself albeit at short notice.

Ultratint (with whom we share facilities), is hosting a VIP Skid Pan day at Mount Cotton for a selected few by invitation only on Sat 8th Sept.

This event is usually reserved for their VIP Customers and used as a promotional day for the business and to let their customers enjoy their cars in a way they can't often do.

Due to a couple of last minute cancellations Kevin has offered these places to members of AFF before he offers it to anyone else.

He expects these places to be filled quite quickly once this becomes public knowledge. Places are reserved on a first come first served basis, so if you think you might like to attend or would like more information, send me a PM or call me on 0412 768 105, but don't wait too long or you may miss out.

Cost for the day is $115 which includes instruction on skid control, advanced driving techniques and general car control with qualified instructors from SDT (Safe Drive Training).

So why not brush up on your skills and have fun at the same time.

I like to go for a drive around the lapping track in Rocky on Thursday night's now and then, not sure if any one else from these forums goes out on this night due to the amount of retards that are out the same time but I like to just cruise around and have a gander at what some of the other cars getting around.

If any ones interested I wouldn't mind meeting some of the other xr6turbo.com members from the area and having a look at what they've done to their T's for inspiration :D

There's also quite a few Commowhore's getting around that might need to be put in their place given the change

Went out for a couple of laps Thursday,Friday and Saturday nights.

seen 2 XR6 and about 100 Commowhore's, man not good couldn't even see another Ford doing laps.

So Locky and anyone else in and around Rockhampton that has some fuel to burn... lets show these rice burners and commowhore's what a real car looks like on the street.

It would be great to see a few XR6's and T getting around in a group.

Was good to meet up buzz, unfortunate that the traffic didn't favour the falcon's sticking around but that's the way it is I spose and there was quite a few other cars getting around.

I was up in rocky a couple of weeks ago for tafe nd yer, there was a large commonwhore to falcon ratio. Might be up in a couple of weeks. I'll give u guys a bell I do come up.
