For reference my BA on 15psi at 6200rpm is at 47% Inj_DC on 98ron (0.82 lambda) and 67% on United e85 (0.87 lambda).

A FG F6 I logged recently on 20psi on United e85 was at 89% Inj_DC at 6200rpm.

Both ID1000's, both untested ethanol content and fuel pressure (was set to 4 bar base).

For those running ~24psi at 6000rpm with e85 and 1000's, I'd be wanting to see data on the injector duty cycle.

^^Edit. Wiggum's your man for all things mechanical. But quick release fittings and gauge on the join between the hardline and the rail feed is the easiest option on a stock BA/BF. The stock reg and also the return in the factory swirl pot (at the bottom) can play havoc with fuel pressure when big pumps are fitted.

Yep successfully modified my return in the swirl pot recently it was a very easy change tbh.

My 044 is a tad quieter now as well.

So united fuel, ID1000's,GTX3582R an 20psi up top should be safe Toads?

Which injector would be the next one up after the ID1000, do not want to go 2000's

What has to be done to the return to eliminate the issues you get when running a big pump?. When you run twin 044s does the return need to be modified.

Thanks in advance.

I modified my return to dash 8 this helped quite a bit.

When the car had dash 6 returns even if you screwed the reg right off (which would normally stall the car) the pressure wouldn't drop below 40lbs!

Much better now with dash 8!

The quick connect to the swirl pot is 5/16th's. Did you put a custom swirl in? The restriction I was referring to was at the bottom of the swirl. You can cut the return tube in the swirl and just cable tie it into place.

Red nose, 20psi is safe as.

If you are having fuel pressure issues and your fuel reg is all the way up then check to see if there is a split in the internal fuel pump hose or a hose near the tank feeding the fuel.
