It's a bit 'sludgy' in both the oil feed and return.I was thinking of running degreaser through it, let it soak and then flushing through with light oil then my usual synthetic. Is it Ok to do it? Any gotchas? Or is it a definite no-no and why? Thanks!John Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/86562-can-you-flush-a-bb-cartridge/ Share on other sites

Keep in mind the bearing cage in a b series 3582 is plastic so dont use anything that could harm the the plastic.
