Well yesterday I hook up the ethernet cable to the DVR. This allows me to view the footage onto my smart phone and was pretty easy to as this system has an app.

Works great via wifi but on you mobile phone server (Telstar for me) not so good would not connect. May need some fine tuning I'll look into it.

Angel you cant aim directly at neighbours property, but if it is incendebtly in the field of view I see no problems with privacy, as long as you dont also record sound.

Angel buy anything produced by eaton. Battery life depends on what you have hooked up. Just plug the dvr and cameras in and you will get 30minutes minimum.

You will probably get more mate. Buy the biggest one you can afford as it will last longer. If it was me I would buy a 1500va one but they are pretty dear. You will pick up a 700va for about $100 this should

Give you 30-45 mins

Or you could get a 3000va like the one I have and run it all night....
