Help! Gtx3582R 4" Air Intake!

I recently whacked on a new GTX on BA xr6t and wondering if anyone can upload a couple pics of what they're using for a 4" air intake?

Just wondering how the best way of going about it is.

yeah already have an APS cooler setup with battery relocation, but now the gtx is in, I need a new intake. It just doesn't leave much room for a 4" elbow to clear the p/steer pump.

Being a B series no off the shelf 4" intake kit will fit without rubbing even though some places will sell them to you....not sure how they get away with selling F series parts to B series customers.

The FG's have the turbo sit 30-40mm back closer towards the firewall so a 4" intake is a breeze.

If you want one that doesn't hit the power steering sensor/hard line then it will need to be made yourself like I did.

You're right skids, theres no kit you can buy that will fit straight on a B series!

I ended up using a plazmaman 4" pipe and chopping up a 4" silicone elbow and threw my airbox over the top of it. Somehow it just fits, didn't think it was going to be that easy.

Drives much smoother and sounds better

Has about 2mm clearance on the pressure switch and about 10mm on the hard line underneath:)
