Hi guys, sorry if this has been covered before, but I cant find it anywhere. I was checking the diff bush of my Mk II XR6T the other day and it seemed ok after 15000kms. I thought Id check under my dads Mk II XR6 (non turbo) and I found this.

Looks like a metal dome covering the bush, anyone know what this is for? cheers

depending on the model some came with those its supposed to help noise levels
