Hey guys I've ordered a GTX and was wondering for the guys who did a home install how you went about installing the actuator up. Did you utilize the standard bracket by somehow modifying it or was there something universal you purchased in order to make it work?.

X2 on the name ya price lol.

So the universal one is a straight up fit or is their some work required?

Well the universal one will work ... but since we have to clock the turbo to where we need it, there is no telling if the "universal holes" that bolt to the compressor housing will line up close enough for a straight push on the gate.

AFter looking at what Scatterbrain has done, I think im going to take that route, plasma cutter, bench grinder and drill press id say 1 hours work.

Want me to double up the steel when making them AaronXR lol?
