28/01/13 08:28 AM28/01/13 08:28 AM #4 You'd notice the smell if it was coolant. It won't be easy getting to the drain with the car on the ground. Use a hoist if you can get access to one.
28/01/13 11:59 AM28/01/13 11:59 AM #7 Had that happen to my BA or BF in the past (don't remember which one). It was blocked drainage as well. Mine was on the passenger side though - came down like a waterfall after the air-con was blowing out like a fine mist (was so humid at the time). Hope it's as simple as that
29/01/13 08:47 AM29/01/13 08:47 AM #8 Author Got it on the hoist today used the air blower and some wire nothing came out so I'm hoping it's all good will give it a couple days if not then dash out time and I might as well replace heater box :(
29/01/13 09:09 AM29/01/13 09:09 AM #9 What happens is the drain tube is not big enough to drain all the condensation and it spills out past the foam heater core seal, there is a seal kit available from ford that fixes the issue, comes with instructions and takes about half an hour to do. Should fix the issue
