Who Has A Turbo 400 In An Xr6T

Who here has a Turbo 400 in an XR6T with a single piece tailshaft? Im getting an annoying vibration in 3rd gear at 80kph. I have a mate with a Turbo 400 in his XR6T and a single piece tailshaft as well and he is expriencing the same issue vibrations at the same speed. Autos are from 2 different places mine from Protrans in sydney and his from extreme automatics in the US. Anyone else have this issue?

I have a c4 and went to a 2 piece shaft chrome moly tubing because of that same reason sydney drivelines said that it was very common once I take the balancer off the alloy 1 piece shaft it was going to vibrate its ass off and start bowing I think that's why they limit the falcon utes to 180ks hope this helps

you should also check your working angles of your shaft check transmission slope shaft angle and pinion angle of the diff.

All the b series shafts were "on car balanced" any ford dealerships would know what your talking about right away

We've got a 2 piece hardy spicer tailshaft, shouldn't have the same issue hopefully.

Yep look like ill be goint to the tailsaft shop when they open up and get mine made ino a 2 piece.
