Anybody else had this? My oil dipstick o-ring isn't wide enough to mate with the side of the metal tube. I have tried 2 others both are the same. Any ideas? Will this cause any problems with the car?

Further clarification - it is completely loose and rattles around and comes out without any force. There would definitely be the ability for air/gasses to pass by it.

typical issue

get a bigger o ring or get the pliers on the tube and give it a slight crush

no ill effects of it being loose anyway
