October 17, 201213 yr #12 No worries bionic.Impellor, is my oil cap not shiny enough for you? GTEXXED, I have flow issues with the head, (previous owner, capa generic flash, valve seats rooted) so I'm limited to 332rwkw. Not willing to spend thousands of dollars on headwork for a 30 or 40 kw gain on the skinny BA rods. I'll eventually be getting a full atomic motor :-)RegardsMichaelActually no its not shiny enough, but you will not be happy when it goes brittle, and starts breaking off into your engine,Cheers
October 17, 201213 yr #15 I used the 0 on the housing as it was perfect for the drill bit to sit in and not scratch away.
October 17, 201213 yr #17 The oil cap going brittle sounds like an issue, however Ford appear to have used the same cap for years and I've not yet seen one do what you have described. As for the lack of shine; my car is a daily driver, not a show car. The only reason I went with the polished plenum was due to the fact that the polished cooler piping (installed by previous owner) would look silly going into a black plenum. Also, when I get sick of it, I can pull it off and paint it black. I'll stop hijacking the thread now, my apologies. Edited October 17, 201213 yr by The Converted
October 17, 201213 yr #18 Thought of some usefull info to add for bionic; If you don't place the nipple in or close to the standard location, remember to get a longer piece of hose as it will most likely no longer reach the new nipple location. RegardsMichael
October 23, 20169 yr #20 Hey guys, I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to start another thread about the same topic. Which position would be the best to put the boost reference fitting? I have uploaded a picture from pictures in this thread. A or B? Thanks, George
