how are the temps with the pod not being sealed off the from engine heat?

the intercooler I have is some crab 500x300x75mm thing I think so the cooling isnt that crash hot at all ... going to have a go at making my own airbox

haha indeed mate !! ive based my build on your thread ... but I really am chasing a relaible 400 so I have piece of mind lol il be doing atomic oil pump / gears and atomic conrods and prob a plenum too ...

Be getting mahle pistons and rings and scat rods and arp 12mm studs for a very very very good price... Will throw atomic oil pump on top of that with a Torque plate honed and acid dipped n/a block and heat treated deburred and chamfered n/a crank.
