Had my fg for about a month and a half now, I lately noticed a rather weird clinking sound everytime I take off in the car, it doesnt matter if I go fast or slow or anything inbetween?

It only happens when the car is off then after I start and warm car then leave it does it, after u have the car running and say stop at lights and take off it doesnt do it? But if I turn car of at all then drive again it makes the noise, sounds like coming from engine bay area!

Anyone else had this or know how to fix it?

My bf2 is doing something similar as well

It only happens when I take off after I start the car and not when stopping and taking off again

Mine sounds fine for a couple seconds then when it goes into second it makes a tapping noise under the car towards the front for about 2 seconds

Mine is also auto

Multiple tapping noises is ABS system as stated above. From memory about 6 to 8 clunk noises, happens in reverse as well I think.

Good luck mate, I have the same problem.

There is quite a bit on here about it so do a few searches, you will find many different theories! but not many answers.

Bushes seems likely, but it could be other things.

Let us know if you figure it out!
