Guys,

The T is ending its factory warranty and am seriously thinking of extending the warranty. I bought the car new in August 2003 and have just clocked over 40k.

When I asked a service staff member at our local ford, they said it covers everything apart from your "general wear and tear"

This response didnt realy give me a "warm and fuzzy" feeling so to speak, hence why im asking here to see if any of you T owners have delved into this extended warranty.

Also, if you have made warranty claims in this extended period, have ford been comming to the party to fix em.

Ta

Clay

this has come up before buddy and the response was that it is exactly the same as the original 3 year warranty.

if you plan on keeping the t, as I am, it is definitely worth it.

my warranty is up at the end of the year and I will 100% get it.

I good link

I purchased my 3 extended warranty mainly due to the costs involved in replacing turbo and other critical parts. There are a few threads here on turbo failure. So the cost of $1250 over 3 years I think is a good investment.

On the other hand this is the first car I have felt it necessary to have to purchase an extended warranty on.

Wonder how the BF will stack up against the BA. You had such run with radiators etc.
