July 18, 201214 yr #11 Not wanting to pay over inflated retail prices doesn't necessarily mean you want to cut corners or want a 'chop job' does it....
July 18, 201214 yr #12 Swear he posted not wanting to pay $4k for a kit. Might have lost it in the server downtime but anyway...don't recall ever coming across a cooler asking that much o.O
July 18, 201214 yr #13 The thing is, these kits weren't banged up quickly by people trying to make a cooler as cheaply as possible. Most of the bigger company's had these cars as soon as they came out, and spent time and money developing these kits to make sure they work well and also won't sh*t themselves in a months time. You are paying what is really a very small premium for piece of mind, it's a $50k car, why risk f*ckimg it to save $500.
July 18, 201214 yr #14 Personally I like the learning experience. As long as the risk isn't too great.....usually
July 21, 201214 yr #15 Pretty sure Kevin is working on an air to air cooler for these and he has stated that we may all be surprised with the outcome
