July 1, 201214 yr #1 Hey guys, going into to get the first round of mods done (08 FG f6 UTE)nizpro intercooler (2295)cat and dump (1500)ss induction (600)and the tuner and tune (1700)do these prices seem reasonable?and does this seem like a good place to start?lots of posts about this but I was hoping to get a definitive answer before I blow 5k+ !CHEERS!!
July 1, 201214 yr #3 With stupid. Scrap the Ss induction. If all those parts are installed seems fair. Waits for "my cousins uncles daughters bf picked this, this and this up 2nd hand for X$ and I would only pay x$ for a tune Bla Bla Bla.
July 1, 201214 yr #4 that's just over 6g?!could save money by getting just the cooler pipes replaced but if your chasing power down the long run then cooler is a good ideainjectors +1
July 1, 201214 yr #5 Author So the standard intake is ok for the power I'll get ( if I went with injectors instead). I was chasing a loud flutter noise which I thought came from larger inductions .. Either turbo side or passenger side.. Or am I mixed up?They said $700 for I.D injectors I think that's fitted?I think going the full intercooler may be a good idea as I'll do another batch of mods in 6 months?Cheers
July 1, 201214 yr #6 That's a good price And there good injectors. Try to keep all your mods useable in the next stage. Ie Ss inductions intake isn't useable. Plus the stock intake will be fine. Actually, $600 will get you a stainless battery relo, 4" intake, KnN etc. That will be everything to max your stock turbo out.
July 1, 201214 yr #7 Where are you getting this from? Cat and dump isn't cheap? What sort? Full nizpro 4 inch is like $2k?
July 1, 201214 yr #8 Author Ok sounds like a planWorm- xtreme fords in midvale (WA).. All those prices are fitted.. Too expensive ? I really have no idea cheer for the advice
