The SS growler kit has this in it. Basically a piece of metal screwed in place that chaneels air behind your passenger headlight. Grabbing colder air as it's sucking further from the engine bay? That's the thing I'm trying to get an understanding on. Whether it does have a better effect or not.CAI makes zero difference, unless of course you are relocating it to the other side of the engine bay & going straight into the turbo. Reducing the intake piping length can be a benifit... The cat is the biggest restriction in the exhaust (apart from the turbo) and the stock cooler will also be a restriction.
