ohhh I read it wrong. thought you were in melbourne and buying a ute from cairns.

in that case it will be fine. just change the oil when you get it home like any other car you buy.

bennee, it should be ok being a long trip (no start ups and shut downs all the time) when youre out on the open roads just keep switching between 4th 5th and 6th gear as much as possible, its bad to keep a constant rpm on a new engine, the more you change through the gears the better.

good luck, im so jelous of you getting to drive from melb to cairns, will be a awesome drive in that car, have fun mate.

Same..jealous of the drive up the coast! Hopefully its decent weather all the way :)

Agree keep changing gears on the drive. Mix it up and you'll be thankful in the long run. Old mans territory is now running like a dream and economy is awesome. Unfortunately he's selling it and buying new each year lol..whoever's buys it is going to get a great looked after car

was informed today that mine has been put back from June 14 delivery to June 24 delivery. So from 4 week build to 6 weeks. Hope it doesn't stretch out even more
