The only good thing that came out of it was that they were a cheap option for a conversion and most were old fart 'church' cars so in good nick.

Same motor that came out of the same era Toyota Corona. Farking useless it was, chewed more petrol as had to work harder to get to desired speed, then when a hill came and being a 3 speed auto, down to second foot to floor and the scream from engine just to get up.

What Ford really hope in trying to steal people away from buying the number 1 4cyl car, which is the Mazda 3, and hope they buy the Falcon ecoboost? Your better of buying a Mondeo TDI.
