13/03/12 03:53 AM13/03/12 03:53 AM #2 Well I'm hoping to pick mine up this week which is looking good now, my brother inlaw works for ford in broadmedows. With his employee discount I got mine for $31000 drive away, that's for a Kenetic blue manual ute. Essendon Ford have a brand spanking new it's for $35990 drive way. That's the basic model as did not like the leather as it looks and feels more like vinyl. Hoping to find GT or F6 seats in near future.
13/03/12 04:10 AM13/03/12 04:10 AM #3 Im looking as well, but dont think that a 2008 fg with 70000kms is 20 grand better than my BA MKII with the same kays. Hoping they drop a bit more in the coming months otherwise the BA will be staying and getting a refurb.
13/03/12 04:27 AM13/03/12 04:27 AM #5 My first BA and BF where both auto's, will mod but not to fussed what it will run down qtr. more fun this time.
13/03/12 06:51 AM13/03/12 06:51 AM #6 Yep manuals are more fun.On topic, second hand FGs are going cheap. Looked at an ex nsw interceptor on the weekend. 2010 model with Brembos and BF F6 rims, 90k on the clock for $24.5k but like gsd112 they won't give me the trade in I want for my BA.
13/03/12 07:43 AM13/03/12 07:43 AM #7 Author What could you realistically get a new/near new;2011 with luxury packOR2012 with luxury packEither as brand spanker or demo/near new (<10,000). Both Auto.. (Sick of manual driving to work..)does anyone know if the friends discounting scheme is still running? There are some new MkII advertised for mid fourties, how much can they budge on these - drive away. 13/03/12 08:35 AM13/03/12 08:35 AM #10 Ive seen a few in the low 20s but there all high kms and I refuse to buy a car with more kms then the car im upgrading. G6E turbos seem to be better priced seen a few 2010s with 30-50 thousand kays for low thirties.
