G'Day All,

I'm as you can guess a newbie here. I thought I should give a little run down on why I'm here. Why my name is what it is. And also a run down on my car.

1st

I found the forum from google search. I also have been big into cars so I know that using forums like this are very helpfull when it comes to problem and or mod times.

2nd

Why the name??? Well I've always been into car and every since seeing th R32 GTR crush all I've been a die hard skyline lover. So I have owned R31 Oz build skylines up until now. and just for a little knowledge the VL commo's have the engine that was created for the oz skylines. So that's where R31_IceMan came from. just a crappy nick.

3rd

My baby is a 2003 Silohouette XR6 Turbo Ute. I got it 2nd hand from a dealer about 4 weeks ago. The car was brough because I'm a Personal Trainer that was trying to carry gym equipment in a sedan (not a good idea) so I thought I was time to step up and get something that is better suited to my work and life style. The second reason is that one of my skylines is now a stripped race car so I'm using the ute as my tow bitch. and yes I know they can only pull 1,600kg but the car and trailer doesn't get to that cause its stripped out.

4th

So far I haven't done anything to the car but I have brought some stuff for her. I'm not modding it until the warranty runs out in sadly 2 months. The goodies that I have or have order already are.

Typhoon Intercooler (have and got her really cheap from a mate)

Typhoon Oil pressure and boost guage (have)

Whiteline 27mm front and 20mm rear swaybars (ordered)

Whiteline camber and caster kit.

The car is auto and is having the auto looked at once next week.

The plans for her are to get it flash tuned with Typhoon or just a little bigger injectors (so I keep the trip computer correct) with all the above mods I aim for a nice easy 200+rwkw's and a light on fuel tune.

I'll leave it for work and towing and sorry guys and girls but it wont be raced more than traffic lights GP. I have a drift / race skyline with 180rwkw's but she only weights 800kg

welcome and do you mean capa flash tuner? if so you will be looking way

over 200rwkw easy. get a custom tune the way to go should be looknig around

260-80rwkw with your mods Intercooler and injectors good luck.

Someone from another forum (xbox gaming forum) told me about the site when I mentioned my dream car was an XR6. Joined up a few months back when I thought I was going to buy the car, but unfortunately things didn't pan out and I had to wait a few months. Have the car now and can't stop bragging about it.

I've been hangin in the shadows for awhile and I must say I'm in love - I gotta have one! I just finished uni and as soon as I get a full time job its mine!!! (any one out there in melbourne wanna hire a junior mech engineer?? hahaha)
